The UpLift Difference: More Access, More Guests

UpLift helps hospitality and gaming facility managers invite in more guests by increasing accessibility to bars, gaming tables, and other height-relevant places.

Without UpLift

  • Accessible bar seats at low tables only lack direct access to the actual bar or bartender
  • Gaming experiences are less-than-ideal for wheelchair users at tables designed for standing players
  • Large convention gatherings often don’t consider clear sightlines for wheelchair users when others stand

With UpLift

  • UpLift puts people who use wheelchairs at bar height, making the authentic bar experience available to more of your guests
  • Equal table height seating puts wheelchair users at eye-level with all other players
  • Large conventions deliver a superior, more equal experience for wheelchair users

How It Works

The UpLift device is simple enough for just one person to deploy, operate, clean, and maintain. When not in use, the device is easily collapsed and stored.

Step 1

Roll Into Position

The device is mounted on casters; one person can easily relocate it. UpLift is battery-powered, so it doesn’t have to be deployed adjacent to a power source.

Step 2

Unfold UpLift

Once in place, UpLift is unlocked, expanded, and unfolded in a few three easy moves.

Step 3

Actually There Is No Step 3

That’s it! Once UpLift is rolled into position and unfolded, it’s ready to accept a wheelchair user, who controls when to enter, when to exit, and how high to raise the platform.

Step 4

Fold and Store

After the show, one person can fold the UpLift device and roll it to storage. An integrated charging port supports routine charging and continued readiness.

ADA Compliance

UpLift Ensures a More Equal Experience, Even at Bars and Standing Tables

Wheelchair accessible seats can be a poor substitute for regular seating in bars and casinos. UpLift brings more guests to the table, better fulfilling your commitment to accessibility.

FAQs for Guest Relations Managers in Hospitality and Gaming Facilities

  • What kinds of spaces can UpLift actually help with in a hotel, bar, or casino?

UpLift helps any height-relevant space, including the bar itself, gaming tables, standing-height counters, and convention gathering areas. UpLift brings guests up to those surfaces rather than routing them to a separate, lower table.

  • How is UpLift different from having an accessible table near the bar?

A low table nearby isn’t the same as being at the bar. UpLift gives guests direct access to the actual bar and bartender, or seating at a high-top table in a room of high-top tables. At gaming tables it puts wheelchair users at eye level with every other player and the dealer. ADA law calls for access in all seating arrangements, and UpLift makes compliance easier in many more existing configurations.

  • Does UpLift require construction or permanent changes to our space?

No. UpLift is relocatable and scalable, part of a system that helps you avoid the cost of structural modifications or permanent infrastructure. It can be deployed at a bar, a gaming table, or a convention counter without any physical buildout.

  • Who’s responsible for running the device, staff or the guest?

A single staff member can deploy UpLift. From there, guests control their own experience, choosing when to enter, when to exit, and how high to raise the platform. No dedicated attendant needs to stay with the UpLift user.

  • Can we use UpLift for large events or convention gatherings, not just at the bar?

Yes. UpLift addresses a common problem at large gatherings: standing crowds block the sightlines of wheelchair users. It can be deployed wherever height is a factor in keeping guests connected to a group.

  • How does this affect ADA compliance?

Accessible seating that’s a poor functional substitute for the real experience (like a low table set apart from the bar) creates a compliance and equity gap. UpLift helps close that gap with flexible, better-integrated seating… and we give your legal and compliance teams defensible documentation of how you’re meeting accessibility standards.

  • Is there a business case for UpLift beyond compliance?

Yes. Better accessible experiences attract more guests who use wheelchairs. This includes those specifically choosing a hotel chain, bar ,or casino based on how well it serves them. Incremental revenue is available without adding physical capacity, all while you position your brand as an accessibility leader.
